Thomas James and Sharon Lee Flynn of Sammamish, passed away Friday, October 18, 2002 in Leavenworth, Washington following a motorcycle accident. He was 56, she was 55.

Tom was born May 22, 1946 in Seattle, Washington to James and Florence Flynn.  He was raised in Issaquah and attended Issaquah High School. Following college Tom went to work for Puget Power, for which he worked over thirty years. Honest and Hard working, Tom always was there to lend a hand, or joke if needed.  He will be remembered as a loyal and loving husband father and friend.

Shari was born June 10, 1947 in Eugene, Oregon to Gerald and Norma Baldwin.  She was raised in Eugene and attended school there.  She moved to the Seattle area in 1974.

Shari will be remembered by her family as a open and honest wife, mother, and grandmother who was always present for support, and comfort.

While working as a traffic flagger, Shari met Tom in 1983.  They courted for many years before getting married on October 7, 2000 in Sammamish, Washington.

In their leisure time they enjoyed day trips on their motorcycle, and spending time with their family and friends.  

Survivors include their children, Dean W. Wiener of Buckley, and Carrie Flynn of Seattle; his mother, Florence Flynn of Issaquah; her mother, Norma McFarland of Depot Bay, Oregon; his sister, Kathy Lowthorp of Torrence, California; her siblings, Kathy Lieberman of Depot Bay, Oregon, Shiela Woods of Portland, Oregon, and Michael McFarland of Depot Bay Oregon; and their two grandchildren, Andrew and Justin of Buckley.

A graveside memorial will be held 11am, Saturday, October 26, 2002, at Lower Hillside Cemetery in Issaquah, Washington.  A celebration of life will follow at Flintoft�s Issaquah Funeral Home.
